I let you win. I didn't want you to cry like a five year old with a skinned knee. You know, like you did in the car on the way out to the shoot after you broke a nail trying to open your can of "Diet Shasta".
If you're reading this, there are better than even odds you are a d-bag.

So, where and when are these mythical steel shoots? Are they Steel Challenge? or USPSA with lots of falling steel?

Not part of any other organized group. Just a bunch from the forum getting together. check out this thread. http://mnguntalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=12420

It's a great time. Google "Gopher Campfire Club". They have property north of Hutchinson.

Steel Shoots for 2010 [edit to add: Like nyffman said. :)]

But the short version is: they're at the Gopher Campfire Conservation Club near Hutchinson. The first one is April 17th, be there at 8:30 AM to help set up.

They are mostly like Steel Challenge as I understand it. Except I don't know if Steel Challenge features the super fun Man v. Man. Having never shot actual Steel Challenge or USPSA, I will now yield the floor to somebody who knows what they're talking about.

I can't wait to try out my new 10mm 1911 on steel this year! (I'll have to bring my trusty 1911 in .45 just in case.. ) :)

Oh, don't worry, I'm sure someone will say it's not enough to knock down the final Man vs. Man poppers. ;)

And then Benny will borrow a 9mm and put them down with a shot each. :rotf:
Back to being just a guy.
No, not that guy. Or that other one either.
