From what I understand, for a shouldered case as the .223 you still have to lube. So I see no advantage to carbide in this case unless you are loading such a high volume and worry about wearing out your dies.

So as long as you are asking for suggestions, is there a particular brand or brands that you are looking for comments on?

I tumble my cases and use hornady one shot lube.
I go through a full length sizer die every six months or so.
I'm loading for three people for ar's on a Dillon 650. I load about 2000
rounds a month. I've used redding, lee, rcbs and Dillion .223 dies.
The Dillion lasted the longest at a little over a year, but alot of the
brass that year was new. I'm looking for a smoother stroke after the
10000 round count. Just seems like they are smoother and last longer.
My 9mm lee dies are like butter after three years of loading and are in the
20000 round count. As for certain brands, I guess that's what I was looking
for from you guys. What brands have you used, what did you like or dislike.
All of us guys have a nice stock pile after the long winter and the time right
to switch out the gritty rcbs die I'm useing now. Not trying to skip any steps
(although some do skip lubing .223 cases for neck sizing with the carbide dies)

I don't know of anyone who makes a fully carbide die in .223, usually, the carbide is limited to the expander ball.

You might want to look into the Redding "S" dies, either full length or neck sizing. With the replaceable bushing you might be able to save from buying a new die.
I will never apologize for being an American.
