DPMS Panther Arms Oracle

Anyone have one? Cabela's has them on sale for 699, or will shortly. Looks like a flat top with a skinny 16" barrel. The guy behind the counter didn't know the barrel twist, but it says 1:9 on the website; 1:8 would also be a right answer. Website also says 5.56X45, which means a looser chamber, correct? Wondering how it would shoot.

Don't know about the Oracle. My AP4 (LR-308) is a great gun. Accurate & reliable.

I built one simialr to that (mine has the smooth sided upper receiver). Good shooting gun and thats a pretty good price.

it is the same rifle as the sportical just adds dust cover and forward assist, and deflector (a3 reciever) great shooter for the money. cabelsa has 2 on hand and already on sale in owatonna
