Cheapest 9mm Ammo

Im wondering where the cheapest place to get 9mm luger ammo just for range use, not competition grade or anything special, just to practice. some people said the wally mart has cheap ammo but the only on by my house is the ghetto one in the midway (saint paul) and they don't carry pistol ammo, so Id have to go out to one of the suburban ones, thanks!

Fleet Farm and Walmart are the cheapest brick and mortar stores I've seen.

If you're in that area, another Walmart would be much closer to you than Cabela's. Try the ones in Vadnais Heights and West Saint Paul for starters. Winchester White Box ammo is about the cheapest at $23 per 100 rounds. I've never had any issue with it through either of my Glock 17's. The Bloomington WalMart does not carry any ammunition, but the ones in Oak Park Heights and Eden Prairie do. I can't remember if the Woodbury Wal*Mart carries ammunition but I think they do - at least they should, as they're right across from the rip-off artists at Gander Mountain.

I was just at Walmart today, and they had 9mm Federal ammo for $9.97 per box of 50. Other than the MFS I found at Cabela's for $8.99 (in store, not on their web site), that's the cheapest I've seen. Anything $10 or less is a pretty good deal for 9mm.

If you are in Saint Paul ,Woodbury and Stillwater Walmart would be your best bet . also I'll check the Fleet farm on Hwy 36 and 694 before Calbellas. If they ever run out and you really need some ammo New Richmond Wall Mart had allways had ammo for the past two years ( I know it is far away form St. Paul but just in case . I go there every two weeks for work there and when every other store ran out of 9mm ammo a year ago theese guys never did).

Since your screen name is cadet and your avatar is the Saint Thomas Academy logo I'm guessing you're a student there. The Wal-Mart on Pilot Knob and Diffley in Eagan has had 9mm Federal pretty regularly for the last couple months, the one in West Saint Paul used to but I haven't been there in a while. If you're shooting USPSA at Oakdale the Woodbury Wal-Mart has always had 9mm when I've been in there. You can get Blazer Aluminum for 8.99/50 at Fleet Farm in Oakdale. I have had one failure to fire with the Blazer Aluminum and no problems at all with the Federal in my G17.
