we just need 8 witnesses. then he at least has to reload once.
HammAR wouldn't own a 1911 that held more than 7 or 7+1 rounds would he? That would be borderline blasphemy.
It's your bet..............do you feel lucky today punk.

At the next big get together, we'll have all the striker fired, polymer framed pistol guys on one side and all the 1911 platform guys on the other. We'll all kick it off into a big melee and the group that comes out on top after all the carnage will have the best platform. It will be like the Sharks and the Jets in West Side Story, complete with all the fruity dancing. If somebody would do that extensively, then I might pay attention. Comparing $500 guns to $1500 guns just isn't logical, and it exposes a person's ignorance if they believe they are making a legitimate argument by doing that.
Fair and straight forward reply....
and to support it I will put one of my $300 Norinco 1911 against any $500 Glock..........
winner takes all......

On a more serious note, for informational purposes only, one of the top CQB focused units in the world just got rid of their 1911's and went to the Glock 21 because of reliability, particularly in really dirty/dusty places.
