Wow... which one should I take out this time... Springfield XDm9, XDsc9... Glock 19, 26... well, I actually do not have a holster for the XDm9 yet, but that might be a good thing to pick up sometime before winter... otherwise, they are all very great options to take with me almost any day.

it is a 1981 Sig P6 made in West Germany made for use by the Police throughout the country, its based off of the P225 that was developed for the Swiss Army. when West German Police issued new standards for a side arm the P6 was what Sig put out. only difference from the P225 is that every P6 was issued with fixed sites, deformation hammer that was used to indicate to the armorer that the handgub had been dropped an needed to be removed from service and inspected. It has the proof marks from the factory an I think maybe the police test requirements but could be off there and the slide was marked "P6" as well as the Magazines.

another reason why i will carry it: The P225 is used by the Swiss Guard and was carried by the Swiss Army and they dont play around.

Howdy; figured I'd throw out my first post on this one...

My favorite 9mm is the Hk P7M8; slim, a great trigger, stunningly accurate, and a common carry companion.

I'll gladly part with my Glocks and my Beretta before I let it go...

I'm picking up my Jericho 941 FSL (IMI surplus/marked) when I get back from vacation. I tried a full size one and shooting it just felt right, most comfortable and natural handgun I've shot. Other 9's I've shot are a G19, they are great but I think they are kind of boring, and a Beretta 92FS, which although heavy as hell seemed really solid.

I was never a believer in the Beretta 92 due to lack of exposure to shooting it. Man let me tell you that is one hell of a gun - yeah they are big - but they work and are exceedingly accurate.

Remember that the 9mm is THE most prominent as well as widely issued military sidearm int he world (caliber wise) I think that all of the major manufacturers have it figures out - since 1909 there have been more than a few 9's made and shot.... Probably the best all around SD Caliber out there for the autopistol....
