Wash a coffee cup? Blasphemy I say!

Why wash off a good magnetite layer?

An E3 who worked for me washed the coffee pot one time. For a minute, I thought the chief was going to keelhaul him.

You can't fix setback issues by overdoing your taper crimp. The case tension is what holds the round in place in a non roll crimped round. Taper crimp is just there to take the bell out. If your taper crimp is to spec and you are still suffering from setback issues increasing it won't fix jack. This is where an undersized resizing die really helps. I've been running the EGW U dies for range brass, it's the cats meow IMHO.

Some day you Navy guys will have to hire a Marine to teach you proper care and maintenance of weapons.......they are not Bic lighters...... :rotf:

You mean scrape it with a wire brush until the blueing comes completely off and you can shake out the internal parts? :D

Um, it's not friend, it's FRIENDS. Plural. As in at least a fire team, preferably a platoon, ideally a battalion.....
