Thanks to Benny And China and everyone for helping me out on my first time. My Colt 1911 had a total melt down from the get go. The plunger spring decided to give way early in the day. I was so glad I had my baby Glock Back up gun and was able to finish the day with it.

Will be back next time with lots more magazines. Tons more fun than a typical IDPA shoot.

Oh how I wish I was there! I decided to try for my last gun in IDPA to be a 5 gun marksman, but no I failed by 13 seconds and missed a great steel shoot! :(

She'll be milking that for quite some time, westberg...I coached her :D

Tickled, watch it for infection and if it doesn't clear up in a few days, see a doctor. It's quite a war wound.

I have a red mark from the brass that went down my bra, but it's no match for yours :D :D :D

Well the timed portion kind of got to me, but the man v man went pretty well. :D

Thanks again to China for taking care of TPs wound. Much appreciated!

Looks like a hickey to me :D

I am however terribly curious as to how that bad bruise got inflicted on Tickeledpink.

she got nicked by some flying bit, and decided to bleed like crazy from the little would just to make things exciting! China had to apply some serious pressure to get the bleeding slowed - hence the bruise! TP handled it quite well and deserves a steel shoot purple heart ;) (and I'm sure Strad will be paying the piper for a few days!)

very enjoyable shoot again (well, except for my scores anyway!) The moon clips for the 608 were more efficient than the Maxfire loaders, but I still can't compete against the big boys with it! Trying to get 8 little points lined up is much slower than lining up 6 bigger holes :( but it sure was fun anyway! It was fun to see my progress going thru the stages - didn't look at the raw scores, but I felt like I got faster working on my single-action technique as the day went by! was sorry I had to bail out in the middle of the man v man, but at least I got the chance to move Strad and Pat UP in the standings (darned slow reloads and good competition!)

The wound is fine now, just a bit tender. I am just using it as an excuse to blame things on Strad again.
Besides, if he tried to give me a hickey I would punch him in the head. Nicely of course :)
