"Reloading equipment" covers a lot of ground. I have red, blue, orange, green, etc across several different types of equipment. I like my Dillon RL550B press. However, I do not like Dillon dies as much as Lee dies. Lee dies are the cat's meow, easy to set, easy to adjust, and the Factory Crimp gives a nice finished product.

I do not see the need to go all blue or all green, etc. Go with what works for you, color be damned.

mixed, blue presses, Green scales, all sorts of dies, (some calibers are only available in some colors)

I like dillon dies, but I use the Lee factory crimper with most sets, even the dillons, I think the bell on the Dillon dies is slightly wider on the resize and the cases seem to slip in with less trouble...

I do not like the plain steel finish on the outside of lee dies as they seem to want to dust with rust faster, the bead blast chrome finish on the dillons and RCBS dies seems to be more resistant.

I have an older Lyman (orange) turret press for reloading short runs. as well as a redding and sinclair powder drops for those.

Aqua is like blue-green, correct? :D

2 Dillon 550s, 1 rock chucker, dillon scale and primer pocket swager, rcbs powder throwers and case trimmer. Dies are primarily a mish-mash of Dillon and Lee.

hornady lnl for .40 and .223 blasting ammo. rcbs for all other cals and self defense ammo. rcbs for trimmer, scale, charge thrower and other misc. stuff. lee and rcbs dies. i'm with the above posters. color isn't as important if it works for you.

Redding dies are my favorite, but RCBS for most of my other gear. But like most other guys I don't drink anyones kool-aid, I buy what works from companies with good customer service.

Uhh, with a Lyman 6 station turret press, you don't need any STEENKENG customer service anymore than you do with a forged iron anvil....

It's there, it's a big chunk of iron, and you use it...

Oh, BIG DRAWBACK!! You have to RTFM before you use it!!!

I don't know what "RTFM" means, but I do know that RCBS makes the best stuff. The rest of you guys are just a little bit behind the curve. That's ok. Keep working on it. You'll come around.

Just playin. I haven't even graduated from single-stage school yet. :D That being said, I do prefer RCBS dies over Lee. The problem with Lee's might just be in my head, but it seems like they can drift away from that "perfect" setting. The rubber ring is no match for the set-screw. Don't remember the last time I had to tweak the RCBS dies. I still check every hundred rds but nothing ever has to be changed. The Lees have to get tweaked.

I really like the Hornandy lock rings, but I hate the set of dies I purchased. Whereas the Lee Dies have a ******* lock ring, but function well.

Then I found out I could buy the same sort of lock ring the Hornady dies use at the hardware store.

Means "Read The Manual." Hope I didn't miss anything in that translation.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that.... :D
Presses from Dillon, RCBS, and Lee
Dies from RCBS, Lee, Redding, Hornady
Powder measures from Lee, RCBS, Dillon
Most brands have their little quirks, but I like and use lots of different stuff.
