Hello all,
I just purchased my first pistol last week, a Glock 19. I just went and put 250 rounds through it on Saturday. I really want to get my conceal and carry permit but I'm almost done with my mechanical engineering degree at the U and I want to see what state I end up living in before I spend a couple hundred dollars on a permit I might only be able to use for 2 months.

Hi Nate and welcome!
Something to think about if you get a permit here just make sure the class also covers the Utah or Florida permits and then you have coverage in quite a few states.

mechanical engineering? You obviously need a different handgun with more mechanical parts
