No check the time stamp, I had been in bed for 3 hours by the time it wandered by. We did have a fire that night but everyone was in bed already by then.

It would have to be a cub for the top pic to be anything other than a government dog.

No wonder you guys can't hit anything without a computer, you can not range for crap.............

It is clearly a non-domestic canine.....yote...... :P

In the Bear picture the stick just left of the Bear is three feet tall and it had an apple on it, we set it for reference. Just in front of the Bear is another stick with a paper plate nailed to it which had cookies on it and are now gone, I think the napkins blew away and who knows what happened to the porridge and glass of milk. ;)

That is absolutely and positively a coyote. There is no doubt in my military mind. ;)

Santa?

This time of year we cover all of the bases, you can't start to early sucking up to Santa. I heard Big Foot has a direct line to him.

Looks like a coyote to me... Black tip on its tail gives it away pretty well.

Wolves and coyotes generally have black tipped tails. Wolves have a long rounded snout------coyotes have long pointed snouts. Wolves have erect rounded ears------coyotes have erect pointed ears. Wolves are 5-6 feet in length----------coyotes are 3 &1/2---------4 & 1/2 feet in length. The black tipped tails on canids is due to the precaudal gland. Wolves have much darker ears than coyotes also.
