If you want pics here you go.... UNLIMITED PICTURES OF SBR's

Wanting information on them is pretty stupid unless you have specifics in mind. They're the same as any other firearms besides the barrel length! I was watching a show on a guy who made SBR's specifically for bodyguards in vehicles and he was talking about how he moves the gas block and front post back...but that's all trivial.

been thinking a piston 7.5" with a side folder stock, but who knows. Maybe 9mm or .40?
I think I might be able to mill a lower to take glock mags, that would be neat.

Thanks bessy, how does the shorty AK handle? I've never shot one.

It handles better than any other firearm I own honestly. The original krinkov was in 5.45x39 and is a handful when shot full auto. I can't imagine what mine would be like full auto ;).

The iron sights are very primitive, all my accuracy testing has been with a kobra or pk-as. I specifically went with a krinkov platform because I collect soviet guns, and didn't have a krinkov representative in my arsenal. If you are just looking for an sbr, I think you money would be much better spent registering an An ar-15 multi-caliber. This would allow you a much wider range of options. My krinkov is all sorts of fun, but I can't swap out calibers. My next two sbr's are going to be a norinco uzi, and a ar multi-cal lower.

Hi Tim,

I'll need to get the camera out & some good light to shoot in then, I can post my HK94 cut down & restamped MP5.

The intarweb is no substitute for "Hey, thats a cool build, can we goto the range sometime together and shoot?".

I haven't the slightest idea why I want a SBR without a happy switch that shoots an anemic pistol cartridge with a flimsy shoulder stock in a state where I can't attach a sound suppressor.....but dammit, I want one.

I wouldn't really want to shorten standard-length rifles, but I'm hugely interested in shortening "lengthened" rifles, such as a PS90, HK94, KRISS, etc. I'd also like to add a stock to a Skorpion, and things like that. I've been meaning to do it for years, but just haven't gotten off my duff and filed the paperwork!

Would that even be possible? I'd love to have a suppressor but my understanding is the DNR is worried people will poach deer.

Laws are made my legislators, not some unnamed DNR guy.

But in Minnesota, the DNR has huge political influence for some reason.

As if poaching could really get any worse.
