Another one sees the light...

I was anti-gun, until I got stalked

I can't stand weapons. But after disturbing e-mails and letters, I decided to arm myself with more than words
"I have come to kick a** and chew bubblegum." <racks shotgun> "And I'm all out of bubblegum."

It's nice she saw the light before it was to late.

from wasting the labors of the people under the
pretense of taking care of them.

"I used to date a guy who owned a handgun and regularly trekked into the woods with his friends to shoot. I made him move the small gun safe from beneath the bed to another room before I'd agree to stay overnight."

F that. I would have gotten a new girlfriend.

Trapeze, love swing, amazing cooch, or not.

I used to have a gun rack above my bed stacked with rifles. If I took a woman home and she said anything derogatory about the guns, she was gone after that.

How long after that?
The 2nd Amendment is the ONLY amendment in the Bill of Rights that specifies that it shall not be infringed.

I was happy I had my permit when my wife started getting stalked by an ex-boyfriend who just happened to be a Navy SEAL.

Just something comforting about knowing you'll end up being killed by your own gun. ;) I harbor no illusions about how any matchup would have ended up!

I'm sorry, but that article really pissed me off. I understand about the right to carry. I'm pro 2nd Amendment. People have the right to defend themselves. But seriously!!!
and that it costs $65 for a concealed carry permit -- $50 for the four-year permit and $15 for the background check.

WHY! There's no justice when those dirty, bike-loving, granola-eating, tree-hugging, squirrel raping OREGONIANS (/spit) can get a permit for a FRACTION of what we have to pay? I DEMAND JUSTICE!

If it makes you feel any better, what do Arizonans, Vermonters & Alaskans have to pay? 0! Nada. Zilch. They don't need a permission slip to exercise a constitutional right. Personally, I think every person should need a government permit before they can post on any internet forum or comments section, or express a political opinion to a friend. And they should be banned if they take drugs, if their ex-wife files a restraining order, if they are adjudicated mentally incompetent, etc. [/sarcasm]

You never had the urge to sleep with one of them out of spite at least? The next morning you could be smugly drinking coffee when she came downstairs, and inform her that she unwittingly supported a person's right to carry a loaded gun. You could then inform her that she also helped unload a firearm, in a manner of speaking...

Most of the folks that admit or talk about being Navy SEALs are generally just liars from what I've found. Even if they were/are SEALs that doesn't give them superpowers or the ability to dodge bullets. Guys at http://www.veriseal.org/ can be pretty helpful if you're interested in really verifying folks.
