I didn't see it on the unholstered website?
We're waiting for the tactical model to come out first, it will double as a rifle rest.
You are such an operator!

Now what'd I do with that chart?! ...
I do in fact own a Remington R-25 in 243 WIN, I got it for $1299 or so a few years back, it's been a damn fine rifle, and if you have ever looked into the cost to camo dip a AR-15 style rifle you will know $150 is cheap, most places get $250+ for the entire rig. As for accuracy, the Remington’s have much lighter barrel profiles than most DPMS rigs, they are meant for hunting, but with that said my R-25 will shoot well under 1 MOA all the time, heavy factory trigger and all, and that's not tricked out with the 42X NXS, that’s with its normal 10X Weaver glass with big fat hunting reticals , it starts pushing half MOA with target glass and full prepped rounds.

Holland&Holland wrote:I just aquired this same rig and took it to the range this weekend to sight in. I was very impressed to say the least. Best performance of the session was a 4 shot group (mag holds 4) the was less than 1.5 inches at 200 meters (Oakdale). I have never shot that good in my life so this rifle is a much better shooter than I am. This grouping was repeatable as well. Planning on it being my coyote rig.

Then I had it rebarreled with a Mc Gowen heavy barrel in .260 (.308 would be just as easy of course), the action trued, pillar bedded and the trigger cleaned up by Sir Randall Hengl who unfortunately retired pretty much after this project. Overall cost without glass was around $1100 if I remember correctly.
It will do everything you want, the only regret is that the barrel is very heavy so it won't do as an elk rifle. It shoots lights out with 140 gr VLDs. The 140 gr Remington Core Lokts are shooting under 0.8" too. It was a fun project. I just don't get to shoot this rifle as much as I would want.

P.S. is that 500 rounds in the background ontop of a wood stove? Lol
Belgiboy wrote:No, that is at least 700 rounds

It's a great rifle, just a little on the heavy side but then again so are all 308 size autos. I'm sure you will grow to love it more and more as you use it, if the OP hadn’t specifically said 308 I would have suggested he look at the 243win, I'll take 6mm ballistics over 30 cal any day, especially when we are talking 20" barrels.
With my pet load (75 Vmax 39.2 GR RL15 WLRP- WIN Case- OAL from Hornady book) I can go sub MOA all day long with the 10X scope, my best group ever was 5 under 2" @ 400, at that range the cross hairs on the hunting scope were really holding me back (too thick). If SHTF I think this would be the one rifle I would grab, I see no others in my safe that could potentially be as useful. Make sure to pick up a bunch of 25 rd P-Mags for yours, just in case the zombies roll in, you can head shoot-em @ 300 yards.

What sort of trays are they? I recognize RAGGED's red MTM trays.
