I extra 8 round on belt at 8:00. Hopefully 16 rounds of 45ACP is enough, but I hope I never find out.

The more rectangle one on the left is a stock item from Milt Sparks and called "PCH-M".

The bat wing looking one on the right was made by Gary Brommeland at my requests and is not a stock item for him.

Just an observation,,,,If you need 65 rounds on you at a time (unless you are in a combat situation) there may be some marksmanship issues....

I carry 16 in my M&P full size 40 and 1 extra 15 round magazine on my wilderness belt.

Welcome Zerwas, good first post. :stirthepot:

Or not so much a marksmanship issue, but an occupational situation.

Welcome Zerwas.

I have never heard anyone that Won a confrontation say “man I wish I didn’t have so much ammo.” Not saying it hasn’t happened.

Welcome to the forum. My primary is a M&P 40 compact and now just need to get the full size. :D

Srigs,

Can you make something like this? I'd be most interested in a single stack version. I imagine that the double stack would be popular too.

I hear ya, and I understand what you are saying. I just think having 65 rounds on your body is kind of unrealistic for everyday carry. Talk about being weighed down :o . I guess I would just make sure one of the first 30 rounds would hit the bad guy in a vital area and stop the threat.

I know where he can borrow an example to maybe use as a guide.

Especially if you intend to shoot the Steel Shoots. I shoot them with my MP40C because that's what I carry but it's incredibly tempting to beg, borrow, or buy a full size for the longer sight radius, longer grip, and higher capacity.

Everyday carry is different for everyone, and there is a chance Ace smokes crack. Are you assuming there is only one bad guy?

When working executive protection i like to have both of my M&P's on me. And one of them sits in my Galco Miami classic which has a dual mag holder on it in which two mags sit providing 30 rounds, and i have a mag holder on my side with a spare for the compact. So if you figure with the gun there is 45 rounds right there.

I just like to have enough ammo

I like to think of multiple assailants and be prepared for them

As for my accuracy. I do pretty well in that dept as my steel shoot scores have shown that over the past year ;)

And gunshop guy has seen my targets when i am at the range. I am shure he will vouch for my accuracy :D :D :D :D

5-shot J-frame and possibly a speed-strip if I think about it is what I usually carry.

When I carry an auto, I carry a spare mag (singular) not because I think I could ever need the ammo, but because you need another magazine to clear certain malfunctions.

Sure, there is a chance I could end up in a situation where I need more ammo. There is also a chance I could hit the powerball next time it goes over 100 million and I buy a ticket too.

;)
It turns out that what you have is less important than what you do with it.
