Man with loaded Glock boards plane despite TSA screening

Postby Demogorgon on Sun Dec 19, 2010 11:37 am

Man passes through TSA security with loaded gun in carry-on bag, boards plane. 1, 2, 3.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- TSA checkpoints at airports are at the front lines of preventing terrorism. When you go through security, you expect to be scanned and searched. And you expect TSA to prevent contraband from getting on planes, but as we've learned, that doesn't always happen.

What a timely news article

One report said "during the height of last year's Christmas travel"... another said "last fall"

One wonders if it takes a full calendar year to investigate such an incident, or if the government of the USA is trying to avoid discussing recent failures in their programs. Hmmmm...

But they did make him take off his shoes...

Ugh. TSA should just be disbanded.

This wouldn't be the false flag incident that TSA feels it needs after the recent negative MSM coverage, would it?

Hey, Fobus lists them as a model their holsters fit, it's gotta exist! http://www.fobusholster.com/products/GLOCK_7_19_22_23_31_32_34_35_THUMB_BREAK_ROTO_HOLSTER_BELT-4336-301.html

Edited to add: okay, so in the URL and the item description, it says glock 7, but the list of pistols it fits says Glock 17.

They chose a poor incident as the gun was in a bag and didn't to through the naked body scanner.
