Have you gone the court route, or did your denial have some merit to it that might cause you to loose?

No money for court. I have 1 DWI from 06 in Hennepin county. Nothing else on my record, not even pulled over in Saint Paul once and have lived in Ramsey for 10 years as well as being a security officer for over 10 years. Got the considered a danger from Fletcher.

Call Mark Berris if you don't get the permit, if he says, you're screwed, you're screwed, but if he believes your case has merit, there's a good bet that Ramsey Co. will be picking up your legal Tab.

Firearms cost money, bullets cost money, taking a class for a permit costs money, applying for a permit costs money, lawyers cost money. If you were denied the permit illegally the city will eat the court & lawyer costs as specified by state law. If you believe you're in the right get a lawyer and see what happens...

Does anyone here know approximately how much it costs on average for a denial appeal on a permit to carry?

No but the time period for having ANY alcohol related incident is exactly 5 years and in July it will be exactly that, I have already contacted them by phone to verify.
