'tis the season. If you're in the Coon Rapids area with some spare cash and have a hankering for a box or ten let me know, my 6 year old has plenty to sell you.

Can't blame me for trying right?

We have:
Samoas
DoSiDos
Thank U berry much made with REAL cranberries
Tagalongs
Lemon Chalet Cremes
Trefoils
Dulce de Leche caramel cookies
and of course Thin Mints
$3.50/box

We're not supposed to sell them until Saturday, so I'll bump it then if anyone is interested.

If ya want to buy a couple cases, I'll drive them down to you. We have 7+ cases on our stairs, waiting to go out the door. Cracks me up because none of our kids can have any. Milk egg and nut allergies suck.

Just heard on the news that the Girl Scouts will now be selling the cookies door-to-door, for immediate sale, unlike the order taking of past years....

Yea, my wife has been invovled with girl scouts at regional level for a number of years and the sales this year will be immediate. No ordering and returning. Two reasons for the change, going green - not having retrace the delivery at least one time and in many cases trying to hunt down buyes, second they believe immediate sales will increase the volume.

The downside is troops had to commit to certain volumes and that may cause issues with left overs and shortages of specific types.

Time will tell. All I know is I'm glad not to have a garage full of those things for weeks while we waited for kids to pick them up and deal with all the bookkeeping.

if there is a surplus left at the end of the sale could the troops just set up at the grocery store and continue past the cut off date? if there is even a cut off date, I dont know anything about this stuff other then I love to wreck boxes of these

Hey, it's Saturday. So, anyone actually want some? Like I said I've got 7cases, 90 some boxes of the darn things. My wife already opened a box of Samoas last night. Please let that be the last box!

The girl across the street came to the house pulling here wagon full of cookies. Best $100 I have spent in a long time.
