Elk River Openings

From the secretary of the club:

If anyone would like to join the Elk River Sporstman's Club we have openings at this time. Applications need to be in by 2/6/11. If you do not have a sponsor--send in the app anyway and we'll try to find a sponsor for you.

The cost of membership the first year is $150 Initiation Fee and $150 Membership Dues for a total of $300 (plus tax) to be paid at the Club Meeting when the new member is accepted into the Club. After the first year, the Membership Dues are $150 (Without 8 hours of Work Credit ) and $100

Membership application is on the club website: http://www.ersportsman.com/

Also, must join or be a member of the NRA and put in two shifts per year as a range attendant

Is someone here a member? I have questions relating to the range rules. I'd be interested in joining, but I have to make sure I can do the type of tactical training that I need to (law enforcement carbine instructor-related training, etc). Please PM me if you have a moment.

What orientation are you going to? I'm going to the one on the 19th. Someone else from our forums will be there also. I'll edit this post with the username. Sounds like a few of us will be there, might be a fun MNGT get together. :)

I got an e-mail saying my acceptance letter was on its way. I won't be at the orientation on the 19th due to work, looks like I'm going to the one on the 27th.

Just found this site and learned of the ER club openings. I saw the deadline was last Friday, anyone know what the chances are I could apply & get a sponsor. Would a member here contact me or provide me a contact person? Any help would be appreciated.
