I'm a first generation gun owner and happy to be celebrating my 2nd amendment rights. I'm not a hunter, but am an avid target shooter, though I don't go enough. Nor does there appear to be sufficient places to do anything beyond the 50' indoor range. It's not fun to shoot a rifle (.308, 5.56, 7.62x39) in these conditions. So, who can I befriend in the Twin Cities area who's a member of an outdoor club with a 100+yd range? Any takers? Anyone? I might even buy lunch...

If you are looking to hit an outdoor range, including whereabouts in the Metro might help. There are lots of ranges just out of the 694/494 ring, in most every direction.
