Trails end bass pro shop??

Postby TH3180 on Wed Mar 16, 2011 3:14 pm

The place is in Fridley. Any body been there? I am working just down the road from there tomorrow. I saw when I drove by today they have a guns sign in there window. Is it worth the time to stop in or should I just drive on by?

I stopped in there in maybe Nov-Dec. I think there was a total of about 2 handguns and maybe 10 long guns. You might on the otherhand want to drive north about 4 miles on 65 up to Capra's. They have a bit of stuff to look at.

I have never heard of Capra's. If I have the time I will go North a little and check them out. Thanks.

Capra's is more known for their fishing stuff than guns, but there is some good stuff in there on occasion. Just north of the Harley dealer on the east side of 65.

Capra's has ramped up their stock on handguns and "black rifles" quite a bit in the last few years. They have quite a bit of stuff. Prices are relatively decent and they match prices too. Trails end doesn't have much as far as guns. They have basic fishing stuff and quite a bit of paintball stuff. I've also seen swords and knives and such there as well. I would check out Capra's if I were you and skip Trails End.

Trails end is overpriced with crappy small collection of mostly rifles and shotguns. Lots of paint ball stuff. Bumming around Capras is worth your time and it's prices are fair.

Capras is one of my favorites, check them out, always willing to knock a few $'s off the sticker as well.

If you get as far as Capras might as well cross to the west side of 65 and 85th and check the Pawn Shop.

True it's just across the street. I believe it's called Lexington Pawn. Last time I was in there they didn't have a whole lot of guns though.
