XD/XDM Owners Chime In!

Postby Thunder71 on Thu Mar 24, 2011 1:26 pm

Just figured I'd see who shares my interest in this firearm on this site.

Very satisfied XDM 9mm Compact owner, I love this thing.

The first handgun I bought was a 3" XD9. Also have a 4.5" XDM40. I like 'em both!

I sold my XD9SC in favor of the XDm Compact 9. Its my daily carry and sports a Pearce grip extension.

Did you modify the extension?

They just came out with XDM ones today if you're interested... I ordered 3 this morning. What do you use for a holster?

I've owned an XDM 40 and currently have an XDM 9. I love them! I've been dying to try a trigger kit though. My 229 puts both of them to shame.

I have an XD40 subcompact and love it as well. For such a small gun with such a short barrel it is extremely accurate. Pretty much is my primary carry gun however I do admit to carrying my Sig P229 almost all winter. Although now that it's spring I might go back to the XD shortly.

I have a XD9 with the V-10 "package"... hands down one of my favorite guns to shoot! Little bit loud but what a sweetheart to shoot.

I have one XD left, a bi-tone .45acp longslide.

It shoots just fine. I may need to drag her out of the back of my safe one of these days.

Bought my first handgun when the chosen one got in office. After trying a few guns at Bills I bought an XD(m) 40. The long trigger travel bothered me a bit so I bought a Springer Precision trigger kit.
Since then I got a BUG - an XD(m) 3.8 40. It made too much sense not to get it. Uses the same holster, same mags. I just put the same trigger kit in this one.

I am sure I will end up getting a different brand for a CCW - when my pennies are saved. At the current time I can carry either one.

XD45. I carry it sometimes and also use it in IDPA. It also comes in handy if you end up on the left side in Man vs. Man at the Steel Shoots. ;)

I have the XD9SC and absolutely love it! A very accurate and fun firearm. I also have the XD45C which I also like, though not as much as my "leetle friend". :D
