For those who don't know, I carry my P3AT more than anything else. My job and current carry options don't allow for anything bigger. Don't get me wrong, I feel completely under-gunned with the .380 and feel a lot more prepared carrying my .45 or 9mm, but like Slurpie said, a .380/.32/.25/.22 is better than nothing at all. I take that back, a pocket full of rocks would probably be better than a .25.

I'm thinking about trying Smart Carry, but don't know if I can comfortably carry (and effectively conceal) my XD9SC. There was an interesting video I saw on youtube of a guy who used Smart Carry to conceal a Glock 26. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkEfZUwzLAs

Hey! I carry a .380! Of course, it IS my backup to the .45.. :)

I'm assuming you DO have a spare magazine for the 45,you wouldn't be counting on JUST that stinking little 380 for a back up alone. ;)

Nope.. I've got 2 spares for the .45. And a spare for the .380.. (One can never have too much ammo.. :) )
