Support of Castle Doctrine Legislation

Postby hammAR on Sat Jan 19, 2008 5:59 pm

I received this email today:

Letter From Author of Castle Need Help

Dear Friends,

Could each of you take time to think of a friend that supports the Castle Doctrine and send me his/her e mail address?

I am going to enclose a document with this e mail. This document will show you each legislator that is on the first Committee that the Castle Bill has to go thru. It will also show you the cities that they represent.

We especially need to find people that live within these listed cities and furnish their e mail addresses to me. I can then add them to my "Castle Group" and update them and ask them to e mail the committee members at the proper time, which will be soon.

Please respond to this e mail if you got this and furnish me with any new e mails you have, especially those within the listed cities. Please call your friends about this and you will get e mails right from the cmte meetings and floor sessions while the bill is in progress.

I need them right away and thanks so much. This first committee is critical. It's The Public Safety Policy Cmte headed by Rep Joe Mullery.

Thanks again,

State Rep Tony Cornish
rep.tony.cornish@house.mn

I emailed Rep. Cornish asking when he needed the addresses by. This is his response:

Tony Cornish wrote:I could use them soon, as I don't know if they'll try to surprise me and have the hearing right away. I need them so I can email everyone at the proper time. Can you get them to me by Feb 1st?

I cannot give out anybodies email address so I would ask anyone who supports this to please email Representative Tony Cornish at rep.tony.cornish@house.mn with your name and district.

Thank you.
