Okay, maybe I got it wrong. The sign-in sheet is in the mail with the match fees, makes it hard to tell who's who. Scratch Blaufuss, then, if he wasn't in the MvM.

But didn't he do well, for somebody who didn't even shoot it. Kinda like a certain Chinakay from times past :D

Thanks Benny, for the shoot and consideration. While I will admit that it was cold, my reason for withdrawing as stated was my knee. ER finally determined that apparently within the prosthetic or graft sections a staph infection has occurred. They will be cutting tomorrow at sunrise........

First or last place, I will be ready for the next shoot....... ;)

I hope it all went well Gunny,

Looking forward to seeing you at next years shoots. Semper fi.

Great Meeting you and all the other new shooters this month as well, as far as the torch thing goes, it was all you VETS that kept the flame going and the resposibilities of today's troops to never let it burn out so we can pass it on to the generations of troops,

Good luck with the infection. Will they be replacing the prosthetic or just doing a D&C with a wash and antibiotics?

Goalie,
With a model as old as hammAR, there are no replacement parts available.
The modern production marine parts aren't resilient enough for OLD war horses like him.

wiat a minute, didn't the Greeks build him out of wood? can't the docs just carve some new parts out of a gnarly old Elm (to match his attitude) and he'll be good to go?

seriously, hope they get you cleaned out and on the mend as quickly as possible and with as little pain and suffering as they are able! Life is so much less fun when your limbs aren't with the program... ;) ;)

It is funny, but, with any infection in the area of a prosthetic device, it is often necessary (usually after a whole lot of other **** is tried) to replace the whole damn thing. Unfortunately, when doing so, one often has to put in a temporary implant upon removing the tainted one, then do a long course of antibiotics, THEN put in the "final" implant after the infection is (allegedly) completely gone.

In other words, hammAR could be in for a little of nothing, or a whole lot of crap. I am praying for the little of nothing.

Nyffman, hammAR shot the first round and withdrew, frozen I believe.

As the old fellow can only make the occasional shoot, I thought I'd let him bask in the glory of being the bottom of the heap!
