Back to being just a guy.
No, not that guy. Or that other one either.

Me too. Thankfully, it's a pretty reasonable rate.

Let's not kid ourselves, FS is a Vegas vacation with firearms training as a bonus. Wait, maybe I've got that reversed.

Okies, I think there is enough interest here. I am going to go forward on all cylinders and see what I can get done. HopefullyI can get back to everyone shortly on date, location, cost ($250 was my intended cost but I think we could push $300, if it is more I will repost with an updated price and request for interest. I am not trying to make any money out of this but if it is too outlandish I think it would be prudent to let it go by the wayside, dont want to screw people) keep a look out for updates.

I think Rob Pincus should start out with a scuba class on superior where we practice one handed shooting while inside the Edmund Fitzgerald at 530 feet. Once we get the basics out of the way we can move on to more advanced drills.

In all seriousness it sounds like you're getting a good class going at a reasonable price. I'm wondering if they'll be any draw backs to this course such as having to sign a release because it'll be videotaped for one of his DVD's, etc...

That would be sweet... I'm a huge Gordon Lightfoot Fan.... but, alas, I dn't have a Technical Dive Instructor cert...we'll have to stick to dry land.

As for the video taping, I spend 8-10 days per quarter working on TV and video stuff, all outside of classes. With only one exception that I can think of, it has been over 5 years since we taped during an actual course... TOO distracting and Too many variables. The taping aleays gets compromised so the class can go well. It is easier to just set up taping situations.

Thanks for all the interest Folks. I'd love to teach in MN again... the Sept Schedule is shot now, but I'm sure we can get something worked out. I've also got some very capable certified instructors in your region that could do CFS course or two this year as a prelude to having me come in and do an advanced Pistol Handling or Carbine Course next spring...

On the track, if the other guy gets far enough ahead you begin to look like you are leading. That is the way I look at it.
