Looks like he did some copy/paste. Most of his arguments sound like others I read, nearly word for word. Can anyone that dislikes this bill tell us what they think, instead of parrotting other peoples talking points? I'm willing to listen if they have some merit. But the 'blood in the streets' argument over and over again doesn't cut it for me.

As I remeber, this guy had a cable/internet show. The episode I watched he had a so-called "expert", from Iowa, talk about and demonstrate how bad and more powerful than other guns, "assault weapons" are. Which we know is a lie.

He is a uber anti! :(

SF 1357 just passed out of final committee and will go to the senate floor.

Imo Dayton will veto it, on last day...

I think some legislators are voting on this knowing he will veto it, and that the veto will not be overriden.

Dayton was on MPR Midday today - didn't outright say he'd veto it...just that all the law-enforcement opposed it, so if he passed it, it'd be like slapping them in the face.
Nothing to see here. Continue swimming.

He must have said something, at least slightly different from the wording you used. The bill's chief author in the House is the Chief of Police for Lake Crystal. So, obviously, not all law enforcement is against it.

Brian Nelson, Chief of Police, Perham is also in favor of it.
