Another New Guy!

Wow! Three new guys in one day. This forum is growing fast. Well, I'm the newest new guy for now.
Live in Andover. Getting back into guns and shooting after a pretty long absence. Been pretty busy
with other stuff for years, but going to retire in a couple months so am taking the opportunity to
get back into the hobby (or is it a compulsion or an addiction?) I guess time will tell which it turns
out to be for me. Plan to have fun with it even though I'll probably never shoot all that well again.
I'm finding out that old eyes just don't work as well. I suppose the rest of the stuff got old as well
but we won't talk about that.

For now all I have is a couple of 9mm S&W M&P and an old High Standard longhorn 22 convertible
(LR/WMR) and a shotgun, but I'm starting to think about a rifle. Thinking maybe an AR of some
sort but I'll probably be asking advice from those more expert than I on those. Face it, my last rifle
shooting was with an M1 Garand (qualified expert) and an M14. Like I said, I'm getting old!

Well I really appreciate all of the welcomes to the group. Why one guy even
posted a picture of himself so I'll know him if we ever meet. That's really
a great welcome. <G>

I'll mostly be reading for a while to diminish the probability of asking really
dumb questions that have been answered a lot before.
