That probably means my Dad won't make it. But I'll be there with boots on :-)

I am bringing my pop-up shade canopy. I don't want to get a sun burn!
Is anyone else bringing one?

I'll have the big umbrella - anybody got an extra patio umbrella stand? (if not, I guess we can always tie it to a spare target... don't know why we didn't think of that last time!)

I have a question. Say one of the courses calls for a weak hand only shot or two. How would it work if a person can’t physically shoot weak hand.? Would there just be a time penalty or what? The reason I ask. I have been telling my Grandpa about the last steel shoot and some of the other shooting stuff I have been to and he has some interest in trying a steel shoot on a nice not to hot sunny day. His left wrist (weak hand) is all jacked up from WWII. If he tried to shoot weak hand only he would more than likely break his wrist all to pieces. He can rack a slide with no problems and load mags with no problems. Just no weak hand only shooting.

I spent last weekend getting very rained on with the Boy Scouts. At this point, I'm thinking of missing out on the wet fun. If I come, I'll bring the pop up shelter. If somebody wants to pick it up and return it, they are welcome to use it.

This has happened in the past and something has always been worked out. Don't worry about it.

He helped stop Hitler and/or Tojo? He will get no crap from us. I don't speak officially for Benny but I'd say if he requests to simply be declared the winner, then that's what happens. In fact, if I catch his name that's probably how he'll show up in a bar chart.

As long as you make sure he doesn't get pneumonia he'll be fine. :)

He already said I am nutty for going tomorrow in the rain. If he does come to one it will have to be nice weather. He is a fair weather shooter, but I guess when your in your 90s you can be. There really is nothing like playing the soup can lid game with a guy 60+ years older than you and getting beat. He just doesn't miss and man is he fast.

Your grandpa is about my dad's age. It is truly your good fortune that he is able to do stuff with you, and that you got to know your grandfather as an adult.
My paternal grandfather, and namesake, died 5 years before I was born. I lost my other grandfather as a teenager. To know your grandpa as an adult is a treasure. Enjoy.

Unless my dog stops puking in the next half an hour, I won't make it. Dammit.
