And you think my avatar affects my message? Interesting opinion. Care to share how?

I think you watched a different interview than I. He made sure we looked like the crazies the liberals portray us to be. Can we not get a spokesperson that shows that we are not all loonies with tinfoil hats living in bunkers?

Sorry, I didn't see any tinfoil hats or hear anything about bunkers. How about, you go show us how it's done.

Whatever. Out trolling for a fight again I see. My point is there are better ways to .... never mind, wrong crowd ...

If ya wanna be a Ted fan be a Ted fan. I have hear better music, seen better hunting shows, and seen more sane people as better representives. I put him in the same catorgoty as the body, a blow hard entertainer that is all about sensationalism and himself. If I wanted that I would watch american idol.

No. My statement is accurate and trolling is not allowed. If you think I went over the line, there's a little yellow button in the upper right part of my post. And, the rest of your post seems to make my point that, while he may not be doing it the only way, he could be an effective spokesman. I don't watch TV but I hear that American Idol is very popular, as is WWE or WWF or whatever they have in the way of professional(?) wrestling. What I do disagree with is your attitude that there are two ways to do everything. There's your way and the wrong way.

There are more than two way to do things. Nuge could pick any one of them, but he chooses the annoying one.

There are likely many ways to do things, some are more effective than others. Talk to some people on the fence after they see that interview and see which way his antics cause them to lean. It is not you or I that need convincing and while I see it for what it is many others do not and those are the folks that whose votes will decide which way things swing. ;)

Ted Nugent does far more good than harm. Plain and simple. If he makes a handful of soccer moms gasp, oh well. He's a huge plus for the 2A. I guess some are intimidated or frightened by his shtick.

I woulda never thought it, 'fore ... only 'cause I don't dwell on such things ... but the arguments from our left-leaning friends here, have convinced me ...

I think Uncle Ted does (has done) an tremendous amount of good fer us.

First 'n foremost, I've actually argued with panty-waists on guns ... AND Fudds ... two things become very clear, very quick ...

The panty-waists abhor logic ... they immediately launch into a tirade of sound-bites, and/or redirect. Trying to change their thinking is like trying turn a homosexual straight ... it jest ain't gonna happen ... and it ain't hardly worth the effort. Moreover, this is a democracy ... we don't need their votes.

The Fudds are where we lose out. They believe the NRA is corrupt ... misguided ... evil ... whatever. Why? ... 'cause they buy into the misinformation out there that "no one's after yer guns".

Uncle Ted does two very important things ... he gets people to watch him ... arguing against panty-waists ... and at the very least, refuting their misinformation ... and more importantly, revealing that someone IS, indeed, after yer guns.

Without Uncle Ted, ya get the douchebags on 60 Minutes, and every other "comedian" on Comedy Central tossin' out one-liners that make us look like the tin-foil/bunker guys ... absolutely unopposed.

Uncle Ted don't need to change yer mind ... he only needs to make ya question what the other side's sayin'.

And once again, in a country where Amerikan Idol and WWE are the two top-rated shows, year after year, he's doin' it the BEST way ANYONE can! Image

And I can PROVE it! Image

3 'er 4 exceptions aside, our left-leaning friends here are among the most intelligent folks I've encountered. And, they're pro-gun ... well ... some of 'em, anyhow. The point is, they ain't pro-gun 'cause someone talking on TV convinced 'em it's the right thing. They're pro-gun 'cause they're smart ... they reasoned it out ... theyselves! They're sayin' Uncle Ted's style is ineffective against their kind, who ain't otherwise decided ... 'cause he's too "low brow". Yet, if they were so "smart", they'd already be pro-gun. At which, he's right at their level! They'd jest prefer not to think so. 8-)

I also jest gotta say ... anyone who thinks Uncle Ted needs to change his style, I'd love to see ya tell him that to his face. Image

Why would we be afraid to say that to his face?

/shrug

I'd have no problem saying it to his face. I don't know what you'd expect out of that exchange. Think he'd beat me up? Maybe shoot me? Oooh! He might call me a name, like pantywaist!

Bring the flap faced filibustering draft dodger here and I'll tell him. Can I get a face shield because I wouldn't want his frothing airborne saliva to get on me?

I'd like to see that douche bag try and engage someone in writing. He won't because his whole style is hyperbole and filibustering bluster.
