sounded like my buddy was having a good time... claims he kept all his shots on the paper - even though I sent him with one of my pistols he's never actually shot before! (but from shooting my other stuff, I didn't think he'd have much trouble!)

Thanks to user842, his wife, munchie, mrokern, and tjpretz for donating your time to put on a great class. Thanks to Bill's for donating the classroom and range time. Thanks to glocker for just about getting us both sent to the principal's office.

And Hef, he's alright.

I would to say thank you to everyone who attended the class, and the several of you who donated more than the $30 class fee. It looks like that we met and exceeded our $1,000 goal, thanks in no small part to Michael Martin and his generous contribution of the books. I do have a few left, which I will post in the marketplace, with the sales of those books going to the charity as well.

I do have to apologize for the overall experience at Bill's. It was obviously out of our hands, but as a result, the class wasn't nearly as smooth as it normally is. Thanks to everyone who stuck around while we waited on them. I am going to contact the owner tomorrow to express our concerns and see what can be corrected in the future.

I would also like to thank the several people who offered to lend a hand for the class.

Finally, I would like to give a mention to mrokern, who was also present as an instructor at the class. When I first announced the charity class, Mark was the first person to immediately offer his time and services for the class. Since then, Mark and I have talked extensively and he has agreed to come on board as a Blue Line Defense instructor. We're happy to have Mark on our team. He brings a lot of knowledge and experience, and will be a great asset for us.

Thanks again to everyone that attended!

Sounded like it was a good class, would have liked to have attended but my permit is good till 2013 and it seems like you already had someone to ask 20 questions.

I'm gonna be (probably the only) the guy that thanks whoever was responsible for the late start. :bolt: I was born late, and I am still trying to catch up.

Even though we started late, I'm glad it still went well. Instructors were very knowledgable. Overall, I had fun and glad I took it with Blue Line Defense.

Great job guys.

I talked to Bill's management this morning. He was extremely apologetic for the blunder yesterday and made things right. Very happy with their customer service today. Good guys... more later.

I talked with them a little and wondered when they mentioned John who sells guns at shows and other places if they were talking about you. Now I know!

My Mother in law is now excited to do some gun shoppin'.
