Tried that. The certification course is $200+. I was willing to advance it to them, but Mom says the last place she wants her teenage boys this summer is looking at girls in bikinis all day. Somebody is likely to drown.

Wallyworld... crappy job, but its a job, and they are always hiring. I worked 40 hour weeks for 8.40/hr before they canned me 2 days short of my 90 day probation period being up (and the accompanying raise/ move to full time). I think I made too much and they didnt want to move me to full time at 9.40 an hour hah.

if they can get on Menards is a great place to work while in school, don't know what starting is but they pay a 2.50 premium on the weekends. don't make a career there is will suck your life out of you.

My company has been having trouble finding people to work at ComoTown this summer.

owing lawns is excellent. Have a childhood friend who continually expanded his empire lawn by lawn, machine by machine, business by business until he runs two lawn care companies in absentia and is a commercial airline pilot.

My 16 YO cousin just landed a job at Highland golf course. Check out all the courses in your area, they're always looking for kids. Also, try the local private clubs too. Caddy possibly.

Could just have them shake down the neighborhood for protection money.

Outstanding idea. And if you need a stronger showing of force... You can always make more kids.
