I’m suspicious of low post counts. The typical low poster probably has a Communist flag hanging in their garage, shoots a 9mm, eats tofu, drinks lite beer (prefers wine but doesn’t want to blow his cover), sits down when he pisses, and doesn’t even like apple pie because of the preservatives in it. The higher post counts are normally known to other members so they can be trusted but not enough to let the guard down.

I consider myself a libertarian, have never eaten tofu, usually drink PBR if its available (you know it won a blue ribbon in 1893), have only sat down once to pee because I was too drunk to stand... but I do shoot a 9mm, I'll give you that.

An AK doesn't sound like such a bad idea, what's a good brand? I certainly need magazines for 45 and bushmaster but I think my biggest purchase and most likely to be banned in the near future is a good starlight scope. At over $4k that's a bigger bullet to bite. I'm quite the newbie though so just my plans.

I would like to get opinions from the more advanced "users" on where to source some things and perhaps which to pick.

Where to buy bulk 500-1000 rds ammunition? .223 especially since it's so much more than .45 rounds. Georgia Arms or somewhere else?

AR15 magazines, where and which? Are there better brands than others with respect to construction etc?

MOST IMPORTANTLY! I desperately need a cleaning kit for both the AR and .45. Is there someplace that sells a full "kit" with everything needed other than solvent that uses good parts? I'd want something that uses patches to clean and not just brushes. I'm not looking for the cheapest. Everytime I find myself trying to decide everything I need and sourcing it I get sidetracked on work or something and never buy any of it. My poor guns need cleaning badly!

Decide on one thing. Do that *right now*.

As an example I am putting together a scout rifle. I have decided on the rifle pending finding all of the accessories. I took 10 minutes today to find iron sights for it.
