So you resort to just what Mother Nature gave you? I guess that is more effective then that 45 gap you are always shooting.

I'll be more sympathetic when the XD, combined with Kahr, and others, catches up to Glock! Image

In the nightstand I have both the G21SF with night sights and the Taurus 650 .357 snubbie with the Mossberg 500 about 6 feet away in the closet.

4" Service model XD-45 with Streamlight M3 light. Would like to find an OWB holster that will accomodate the gun with light attached.

I strongly object to a 40 Short & Weak being included with 10mm, 41, 44, and my favorite caliber. That's like putting Pee Wee Herman in with UFC heavyweights!

Answer to the question: EAA 10mm Witness, heavily sprung and Magnaported, running Corbon Powerballs and two extra mags of 14 each. Plus my bedroom door lines up exactly with the stairs, so if anybody kicks the front door in (it's steel, so good luck...), I can fill the entire stairwell with lead by the time they take the first few steps up the stairs.

I can load .40 as hot (actually, hotter) than 10mm!

Maybe the watered-down factory 10mm, but can you make a 200gr JHP do 1250 out of a 5" bbl? I don't believe you can.

Why do you people always insist on getting into other people's bedrooms?

Yes, I do believe it is. I'd like to be there when you touch them off..standing behind a thick pane of plexiglass.

.357 magnum revolver and a couple more spread around with a couple scatter guns as company. My wife is not comfortable with semi-autos and I do not feel under gunned with a .357 magnum, so we are both happy.

Plus you're forgetting that 40 Short & Weak cases are 1/10th inch shorter, so you don't have the same volume to work with as a 10mm. And there's the little matter that the SAAMI pressure for the 40 is 35,000 PSI, and the pressure for the 10mm is 37,500, so for a 10mm NORMA factory load in a 40 case you'll be WAAAAYYY over pressure even if you could get the velocity. I think you should put the chrono between the gun and your face, to see how fast the slide comes back into your face after it shears off the frame. Oh, Hornady XTP 200 10mm bullets are only about $25 for a box of a 100. Dunno where you are getting that $90 figure from. And finally, you use Blue Dot for duplicating Norma factory loads, and not AA-7.

And I double dog dare ya to try it!!
