Well last night was good, the weather was miserable (but still better then not shooting) and the food was great. I had the down hill slide going on all night, shot fast and clean the first stage without trying and it went down hill from there.

Pat,
If you want to make it to any of the remaining events and need a ride the offer still stands. From my understanding this is how the next four weeks will go

1. Points Match week 12 - 08-03-11
2. Classifier - 08-10-11
3. Fun Shoot - 08-17-11
4. Party at Leo's - 08-12-11

I have been trying to make it to one of these and havnt made it yet. :(
Well its Wed again but the schedule says classifier, Can anyone shoot a classifier or is it something special?
Is there still a BUG match tonight?
I keep checking in hopes of finally makeing one of these matches.

Go to the top of the page, my post has what the last 4 weeks would be. There are no more regular IDPA events this year. Anybody can shoot a classifier but if you do not have a IDPA membership it is nothing but practice for you and I have a feeling that you will be asked to wait until the IDPA members who are trying to get classified are done.

No BUG match tonight.

You most probably will have to have an IDPA membership number to eve shoot the classifier tonight. The basic schedule will be to give the non classified IDPA members priority. The next would be those that want to reclassify or classify in another class. Then if time permits, there is a 8 pm deadline because of club rules, the regulars that shoot weekly but may not be an IDPA member. Then if there is time, it will be open to others.

We will be running 3 bays with the classifier, so depending on how many turn up will determine as to what can be done tonight.

Fot those that have never shot regular IDPA style matches and then go to a classifier, do not plan to be overly impressed. I think the classifier is boring, but it is in part because it is a standardize course to gauge a shooters ability and get them shooting in the level that they should be.

Thanks
Perhaps one of these days everything will align and I can give this a try.

Just wrapped up the season for Faribault IDPA. What a great time! It was my first year of shooting IDPA and I'm hooked. A great bunch of guys/gals.

Thanks Leo and all others involved with the organization of this group.

The highlight of the evening was 12 pounds of tannerite at 275 yards, shot with a .300 Win Mag.

If you notice the momentary blur when it lit off, that was because it shook the ground!

You could feel the pressure wave too. The video does not do justice to the sound.

Nice shooting Pam. Thanks again for all your work with sign-up at the matches.
