I picked up a new one from Dave last Sunday and couldn't be more pleased. Dave was a great guy to meet and deal with, and anyone considering one should not hesitate to contact him.

While I haven't had a chance to properly break it in at the range, (that will be soon however), I have had a chance to play with it to the point of fully experiencing all of it's features and general 'feeling' of quality. After 2 decades of excellent to poor quality red dots, high dollar and cheap, this Lucid HD7 really seems like an affordable winner in the realistic world of a civilian user and certain LEO that won't need to scuba dive, or drop their equipment off buildings, etc.. Although my long term use will still have to confirm this, I am confident I'll have no problems. If by some chance I do, I have a lifetime warranty I am sure will suffice my needs.

I mounted it on my STAG 2H flat top M4 upper with MI flip up BUIS co-witnessed at 1/3 as stated by the manufacturer. The mounting is firm and solid, and I was able to laser bore sight it in at 25 yrds which I figure will get me on paper, and I can re-zero from there. I'll probably move it to the 50/200 yd approx zero. That's as far as I can (sometimes) shoot without magnified optics and older eyesight. So far my favorite reticle is the 2 MOA dot with outer circle.

While you can't judge the quality by the looks, I have to say this is a nice hybrid of the visual look of an ACOG, with the red dot reticle options and features of an Aimpoint/EOTech best of both worlds. I am looking forward to getting this to the range. Thanks Dave for this great deal.

I just picked mine up yesterday and installed it in minutes. I can't wait to try it out. Headed to the range today! It was a pleasure meeting Globeflyer and doing business with him.
