An employee happened to round the endcap so I asked him. He says, "oh, it's locked up in the cabinet under the counter." I said, "that's odd, seems everything else is out here on the shelf." He laughs and says something like "don't ask me why".
As he ran through the boxes they had down there, nothing at the price point I thought was worth the purchase, I saw that all they had locked up was 9mm.
Long story so I can ask my question... what's the deal with locking up only the 9mm caliber? I had to be staring at that damn shelf for a good 5 minutes.

Every time I've gone there they had 9mm, .40, and .45 locked up. It's also taken a very long time to get someone to help with the ammo when I've been there.

I figured the didn't sell it. That is screwed up. You know if you started reloading you wouldn't have to worry about it.

When I went to the check out counter with all my shotgun shells, the lady asked me.
Lady - "so what are these for?"
Me - "To shoot clay targets with"
Lady - "Oh, Ok What's your birthday?"
Me - I told her
Lady - "So if these are for targets, why do they ask your birthday?"
Me - "Because they are shotgun shells... ammunition."
Lady - "So they could hurt someone if they got shot with them?
Me - "Ummmm yes, the target shells are just are lethal as the... regular? ones?
Lady - "Oh, I did not know that."
SOOOOO according to the lady who allowed me to buy this mass amount of shells thought that since they are for "clay targets", meant that they weren't lethal.
