Closer yet, thanks! I'll have to get permission from the reluctant spouse. We shall see!

Bring her along. I do not charge for a spouse to sit in on a class to maybe learn something about carrying a handgun for self defense in Minnesota. Only a charge is if I have to sign off on any paperwork for a permit to carry.

VERY cool, I'll definitely tell her about it. She's been saying for years that she would like to take some basic gun safety/ familiarization courses, so that she's not so nervous about them.

I just want to make sure she understand what this is. This a Minnesota permit to carry and covers the carry of a firearm, such as holsters & types of carry, laws & legal requirement, awareness & avoidance, escalation, etc. and is does not really cover basic safety or familiarization. But again she is more than to sit in with you at no charge.

I do an NRA FIRST Steps class that is exactly that, an introduction to handguns which covers safety, components, operation, ammunition, cleaning, storage, shooting position & grip and a lot more in between.

You can find some more information here, the 9th one down on the list.

There are still opening for this Sunday class.

Some may be more familiar with this place and all the negative press they got a few years ago when they were located in Waseca Minnesota. Vantage Point range is the same business as Drive A Tank. You can drive tank on the course that is located behind their indoor range or even go the extreme and crush a car with a tank.

No, the drive a tank option are not include in any firearm courses that are offered, but if you want to give really unique present to someone, contact Tony and he can set you up. ;)

Again, there are openings for this Sunday class on October 23rd. Please contact Vantage Point Range to sign up for this class.

Well they are not open, maybe you can tell me, how do I reserve a spot? Do I have to pay upfront or can I do so that day? Just trying to figure this out somewhat in advance.
