St. Louis Park Shooting

Postby BBeckwith on Mon Oct 03, 2011 9:09 pm

well damn was wondering what all the sirens were about tonight. Turns out there was a shooting about 4 blocks from my house tonight. Saw the story on WCCO and didn't get many details. But it sounds like it was in the parking lot of the business complex behind West End. It also sounds like it maybe a domestic.

Interesting it doesn't mention the time but I have had the windows open since 6pm and never heard any gun shots

Thats just sad. :(
A part of life I guess, but very sad for all involved. Some people don't know how to handle stress or conflicts and resort to these measures. He apparently had no idea how guilt would set in when he pulled the trigger, so he needed to pull it again.

My wife was thoroughly freaked out as she works in that area. I think she's finally convinced to go get her permit. :)

They are calling it domestic and BG is dead (shot himself). I wonder if victim had restraining order.

My wife was shopping over there and got to see all of the pretty lights on the police cars.

I hear gunshots all the time over on this side of the cities(East side of St Paul), and we have our fair share of assault shootings. It's not something I want to get used to. Can't understand the mentality or mentalism of these people.
