Bill's Gun Shop was approached when the show was in development, but apparently we weren't colorful enough. Glad they went with Red Jacket ;)

I remember doing some research when I was thinking about buying a nicer AK or having one built/converted. There was a lot of talk about the Tapco G2 trigger group, but most AK folks "in the know" spoke highly of the trigger group available from Red Jacket Firearms, even though it was 3x the price.

Now that I've seen the show, I wouldn't order anything from those folks. I'm another one who can't believe their guns sell for as much as they do. I watched one complete episode where one of the guys was asking for a barrel gauge or some sort of specific measurement tool. The owner blew up and started screaming that "you need to make it work with the tools we've got, we don't need no @&%$! <insert specialized tool here>!!!" He basically told the guy to eyeball it and that would be good enough.

Maybe that's why they specialize in AKs - can you think of a more forgiving design?

Between you and Ryan, there's color enough for TV. Definitely! All you'd have to add is a seriously hott helper and you'd be stylin. (And no, not "hot" like the girl from Red Jacket. I mean actually hot.)

It was some sort of depth guage or something of the sort and it was for the barrel for the 1000 yard ak based sniper rifle.. I didn't watch the entire thing so I dnt know how the gun shot. Probably not to great because that guy seemed pretty certain he needed the tool and will refused saying he coul eyeball it. But then a few scenes later will is talking about how everything on the rifle needs to be done precisely right or it won't hit ****... idk

The gun shot fine...in the hands of a seasoned shooter it hit its target ..at what range and how many shots we will never know for sure
