This sounds like something i would love to try but i have no competitive shooting experience what so ever(other than a trap league). Where does this event take place? Thanks in advance.

Ryan

it's open to all. happens at the Gopher Campfire Club near Hutchinson. if you haven't had holster work, Benny can go thru it with you before the fun starts. check out the "steel shoots for 2011" thread for more details.

I sure hope by "check it out". You mean come and shoot. I think it would be boring just watching.

Brado is no slouch either and the Man v Man is can be pretty interesting.

Sadly, I will not make it. last minute private class in Hudson trumps fun in Hutch.

Lol yes comming to shoot. I dont think i could just justify the drive just to watch. Ive been really interested in trying somthing like this so i think it should be a good time!

How much ammo does one normally bring to these? From what i read it sounds like 200-250 rounds should be suffient?

yeah, i'll be there. bringing a friend and a few guns. my question is this though: do we need to have some sort of mag pouch or magazine holder?! i have none. i only have three mags for my Sig1911 and three mags for my FNP-40, and sadly i don't even have a real holster for my FNP-40, just one of those Remora things

either way, i'll be there, with plenty of ammo!

Buy more mags. 4 is minimum, 5 is better. With the number of people coming, it will be a clusterf#%!if you can't get through a stage without reloading.
