Been looking around for awhile

Have been looking around for awhile, joined about a couple weeks ago and thought I should do a simple intro hello before I post.

I basically like all guns, handguns for fun and basic self protection and shotguns and rifles for hunting. My dad was a hunter, he hunted many times for the enjoyment, but many times to supplement what we grew in the garden to feed a family of 7 back in the 50's and 60's. He passed on this hunting tradition to my brother and I, which we enjoy for if anything, simply getting out and enjoy the Minnesota outdoors.

welcome from brooklyn park. i too hunted with my dad, still do. problem is, we do it on state land, and he doesn't really have the patience to stick with it all day long. he's ALWAYS asking if i'm tired and want to go in. "no, dad, i'm good" twenty minutes later he's at the bottom of my tree stand saying "lets go for lunch". oh well. it's still a good time
