We eat our own here.
No, I'm not kidding.

We're a bunch of glass half-empty people around here. Plus, this is the internet, so it is assumed that everyone is lying about something.
My advice is to not spend too much time trying to explain. It is what it is, and it's everyone else's problem; not yours.
Welcome aboard, sir, and thank you for your service and sacrifice.
This place has always been tough for newcomers. I avoided this forum for a couple of years, maybe, til I was ready to dive in.
Larry.Y wrote:Token246 is an employee who responded to this thread after it was forwarded by one of our clients.
The reply just provided clarification and did not solicit any business.
Token246 then brought this matter to my attention so that I could address it.
Larry.Y wrote:huntingmn99's comments are not beneficial to our business. I have sent a private message asking them to clarify their identity, as I have no idea who they are.

Larry.Y wrote:I immediately claimed responsibility for Token246 as that is the only person within my company of which I have any knowledge of having participated in this conversation.
...
Token246 is our shared admin person that has no hand in training other than processing requests.
They are not part of my training staff and thier use of 'they' instead of 'we' is in reference to that fact.
With her knowledge of the security industry and unique perspective on the security needs of women, Ms. Yatch brings a trusted female perspective to the Sealed Mindset Team.

I have solely used it to read the community's opinions to stay current.
Snowgun wrote:What is really happening over there is honestly now your problem to solve and I wish you luck in rectifying it, but honestly you've gotten off lightly as things go. Despite tman's whining we are a pretty tolerant board. If this would have happened anywhere else the results would have been much worse (like the name of your company dragged in the gutter, ridiculed, and your IP permanently blocked with you not able to explain what happened).

While I am not a Navy Seal, I do like to consider myself a Junior Internet Sleuth. From what I have gathered, partially based on the registration name on the e-mail, Token246 is your wife and Vice President of Sealed Mindset.
If that's the case, I feel it's a bit disingenuous to claim that she is simply an office staff member and not part of 'the team'. I'm sure the Vice President of Target doesn't stock the shelves on the overnight crew, but I would imagine that they consider themselves an employee (part of the team) and wouldn't rely on a technicality as to their involvement with the company in a similar setting.
Regardless, I don't know if she has any involvement in the day to day training of your students, but her profile, as found on your website, states the following.

My name is Anne Yatch, yes I am Larry's wife and first I have to apologize because I have never posted in a forum before. I was told by a client that someone in this forum was requesting information about the range and trainers of Sealed Mindset, so I tried my best to answer the question that I noticed in the forum. I am not one of the handgun trainers. My direct role is in the corporate web-based educational side of our company. I'm sorry that everyone here is fixated on my misuse of "they" instead of "we," but since I'm not an firearms trainer, I always refer to the instructors as "they."
Paul - both Larry and I would love if you would put your "Junior Internet Sleuthing" abilities to work for us to find out the identity of Huntingmn99. That way we could all prove that this person is not a member of our team and is most likely, as we suspect, one of the many contract employees that work for Range Systems, over which we exert no control.
As Larry previously stated, we have attempted to contact him through the forum, with no success.
Everyone in this forum is more than welcome to give me a call at any time to get to know me personally. Thanks guys and have a great night!
