How will the new anti gun policy at ebay affect you? Time will tell how this affects ebay. Other than a few magazines, I haven't bought any shooting related items from them. Actually, I use them very little. Many items go for prices higher than retail or other measure of common value. I've heard several possible reasons for this. Don't really care. In addition to the high cost associated with many of their listings, I guess I'll treat them like a business that posts. They are free to advertises their dislike or distrust of people exercising 2nd ammendment rights and we are free to do business where it pleases us. For anyone who hasn't heard of this, THR has several threads on the subject, here is one. I believe this one has links to ebay forums where this is discussed.

I saw this on another site this afternoon, when I started to think about it I realized that I have never bought anything firearm related on Ebay. I think the only thing I would possibly buy would be holsters and those will still be available. Everything else comes either from GT or reputable internet businesses.

knowing what I do about people, I don't think "the right thing to do" is what they're after. From information on http://www.newsmeat.com/ , Pierre Omidyar, founder and chairman of the board is heavily into Democratic politics and causes. You draw your conclusions from there.

I purchased quite a bit of gun related items off Ebay.

New turkey barrel for my 1100 Remington for $70.00
Reloading dies for around $10.00
M1 clips and tools
etc.

It was a fast and easy way to shop if you knew what you wanted and knew a fair price.

AuctionArms and Gunbroker? maybe, but you can't really find too many average Joe's selling used parts on there. There are a few gems in there though!!!

They really piss me off. Mostly because I try really hard not to support anti-gun organizations, but they're by far the best place to unload audio gear. Unfortunately, I can't afford to stop using them...

Makes me mad. They were already strict enough. I got a 90 day suspension from them for selling a piece of crap AK-47 scope mount.

EBay is a great place to sell brass. You can get close to retail prices plus S&H. I'd never buy any from there. Too bad it will be banned. Stupid.

We strongly disagree with eBay’s stance on the 2nd Amendment in general and specifically in their lackadaisical abandonment of their long and faithful customers. We think it is unconscionable. But hey, it’s their right, and we love them for helping us continue to build our business!

I think i'll have to get them to cancel my account if they wont let me buy my brass there any more..

I just purchased 3000+ brass casings a week ago. They "P" me off sometimes with there policies, I sold a Ninja ZX-10 and they cancelled my add for not wording it correctly
