I want in!
The gun started as a 1923 Hex 91/30. When I bought it it was missing a front sight. I ground the mount down the mount, sporterized the stock, and intended to use the gun with a scout scope. The problem was that the barrel was way too god damned long to serve any purpose. Plus, I don't like the scout scope.
The plan is to cut the barrel down to a usable length, add a bent bolt, (i may not need one for sure, but i like them better than straight ones) add a rail and some dollar store low-power optics. I'm considering a comp or flash hider, as well as a front grip and pistol grip. But the barrel is the first thing to go.
