This is what you get when you take a gun with a 3' barrel and cut it in half. :rotf:

I can't stop laughing when I think about it now.

Are you kidding? I couldn't stop laughing when I was shooting it. Half the time I was almost in tears. I had a couple other folks on the range shoot it.... (two of the ones that geve me the dirtiest looks). The look on their face post trigger pull was priceless.

I may have to make it up there for breakfast and the range. I'm not feeling up to 6 hours driving to go down south as planned.

Now you need to reload with a faster burning powder and tune your loads to the barrel length.
Muzzle flash is fun (try a 50BMG at night), but excessive blast can tip a bullet in flight as it leaves the barrel.
Have fun - I guess your are already doing that !!! Be Safe.

Wife proved she's paying attention again today: "Where other than a range could you shoot that without starting a fire?"

I'd been telling her how well it pointed last night and how it would make a good hunting rifle depending how bad it kicked. :)

So I'm curious about the range shoot today: did you put bullets through the target or just massive fireballs? ;)
Looks like you guys had a blast.

Holy hell! I definitely laughed out loud when I saw those fireballs.
Let me know when you're going next and I'll bring some ammo!

Heck, whatever you are shooting at might be pre-cooked by the looks of it. :)

I shot mine on Friday, I didn't find it to be much of a fireball or bad on recoil.

Fired maybe 100 rounds, I was underwhelmed on the flash/blast/recoil, but it shot better than I expected.
