Exactly. Begs the question, what came first, the economy going into the ******* or drinking on the job.

I think I know the dealer you are referring to, I have had a table next to his a couple of times. IMO he is much easier to deal with when he HAS been drinking.

Well the prices were high so the dealers might as well be. Where have the gun show deals gone? I left with a patch that cost a dollar. Um plus the $5.00 enrty fee I guess it was a $6.00 patch.

I think we all know the dealer we are talking about here.
I saw him nursing a beer bottle at his table when I was at MWC from 1-3 Sunday afternoon.
Not surprised at all.
Thought it seemed out of place in the context of selling firearms.

And sometimes he AIN'T so easy to deal with (cough...paranoid and belligerent...cough) when he's been drinking.

I'll see you guys at the Rochester show in January.

Maybe we should have a treasure hunt to find the beer - winner gets to take any unopened bottles or cans home with them...

This was my first MN gun show, and I was a bit surprised to see alcohol there at all. Not that I have a problem with it, I just hadn't seen alcohol served at a gun show before. I do agree that it's not exactly professional for the dealers to be drinking on the job.
