I go first thing in the morning and never seem to have an issue with wind. No matter where you go, wind will be a problem if you don't plan ahead. The targets are in a NW direction from where you shoot, so keep that in mind.
Faribault is an awesome facility and low cost for membership. They have a 600 yard target as well, but you need to shut the range down to only 600 yards if your going to use it, and that doesn't make many people happy if you do that. I read in a newsletter they are working on having one shooting area for all ranges from 50 to 600 yards. This will be awesome. Faribault has pistol bowls also. They do not allow shotgun clay target shooting.
Check it out and enjoy!
