Just scored a Bersa Thunder 380 CC.

I was looking for another .380 subcompact pistol to replace my Taurus TCP that I had. I sold the Taurus because I wasn't very accurate with the gun. My local gun shop had a Bersa Thunder 380 CC in the case. I didn't have any prior experience with Bersa firearms until now. They just weren't very popular in my neck of the woods. Needless to say for only $239.99 on clearance I was willing to take a shot. I'm very impressed with this little gun. I had half a box of PMC 90gr FMJ left over from when I had my TCP. This gun right out of the box without fired ever round without a FTF, or FTE. I was impressed. I was also surprised at how easy the take down. Cleaned it, lubed it, and ask for some more .380ACP ammo for Christmas. My dad bought me a few boxes, and we are gonna shoot this thing some more tomorrow.

I agree, The Bersa is a big "bang for your buck" pistol, just remember when you clean it to put the spring on the correct way, The smaller (tighter) end slips on first. the ends are very close in diameter but one end is smaller, msn

I have had my bersa about 7 years now and have put over 500 rounds thru it and have not had a fail to feed or fire it has been a flawless shooter, and it's my primary carry gun easy to conceal. Mine is the two tone, sharp little guns.

I did some shooting with the gun yesterday. Fired a box of American eagle though it and didn't have any issues. Did a couple rapid fire drills and tried to limp wrist it to get the gun to malfunction. She never missed a beat. Very impressed with the gun. Got a box of critical defense ammo ordered up and it's gonna be my primary summer carry gun. Small enough to slip into a pocket with a holster. But big enough to shoot better than the real small 380 auto pistols.

Technically, it's OVER 100. 1911 was the year the US military adopted the design. The patents on the gun itself date back as far as 1897.

I changed the magazine cap for the one that provides support for the little finger.
Really helps with control of gun.
Wish I had bought the 2-tone Thunder instead of the Concealed Carry mode.
But the CC is a great gun for its intended purpose - it is backup to my 40's.

I have about 1,500 rounds throught mine without a hiccup, shooting mostly Winchester and Remington ammo.

Great little pistol and have been very happy with mine.

The Bersa Thunder .380's are DA/SA.

Other 380's,ie, Ruger LCP, Keltec P-3AT or Kahr P380 are are DAO.
