New from Coon Rapids

Postby oneunder on Mon Jan 09, 2012 10:49 am

Hey all.

New guy here from CR area. Don't currently own any of my own firearms yet, but am planning on purchasing in the near future. Looking at the s&w m&p9, and also the Ruger sr9 (but not as hard as the s&w). My old man has some rifles and shot guns I/we have used in the past for some pheasant hunting so guns are not completely foreign to me.

Looking to learn some more, from people who know way more about firearms then I do.

Thanks!

Yea, I dont really know how I found it either. I think I was Googleing Southwest Arms, and a post from here came up. Trying to do some research before my first pistol purchase.

This is a good place for that. Southwest Arms is ThunderJohn on here, a great guy to go to. Make sure you send him an e-mail. :)

Being from CR, going down there is quite the hike. I have been to Capra's around here. Talked with a couple dudes there and they were really nice and helpful towards a dude who knows little to nothing.

But I will keep Thunder John in mind. Thanks!
